Bentley Advanced Map Finishing is shipped with two font resources installed in the \Workspace\Standard\symb\ directory. The MAPFINISHING.RSC file contains standard representations of 35 PostScript fonts resident to most PostScript devices.

On screen fonts are designed for fast display of reasonable quality. Some lighter weight fonts are represented as single lines but print in high quality in PostScript. Bolder fonts are shown on screen as filled shape characters. A font library can be provided where all characters, even those of lightweight, are represented as filled shapes.

The FRACTION.RSC file contains only fonts 1 (Helvetica) and 27 (Helvetica Narrow) with fraction representations in the high ASCII characters.
